Comprising approximately 56,000 km2, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) consists of the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and the municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province. As of June 2021, the GBA's total population is 86 million, with a GDP of USD $1,679.5 billion and a GDP per capita of USD $23,371.
