Note: The Admission Scheme for the Second Generation of Chinese Hong Kong Permanent Residents (ASSG), General Employment Policy (GEP), Technology Talent Admission Scheme (TechTAS) and Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS) are not applicable to nationals of Afghanistan, Cuba, Laos, Korea (Democratic People’s Republic of), Nepal and Vietnam. GEP is also not applicable to Chinese residents of the Mainland who may apply to come to work under the Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents and Professionals (ASMTP). The Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) does not apply to nationals of Afghanistan, Cuba, Laos, Korea (Democratic People’s Republic of) and Nepal. For nationals of Vietnam, the IANG only applies to those who have obtained an undergraduate or higher qualification in a full-time locally-accredited local programme in Hong Kong offered by the University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded institutions, but excluding: (i) self-financing programmes offered by the relevant institutions; and (ii) programmes offered by the continuing and professional education arms of the relevant institutions.
