Waste-to-Energy facilities play an important role in the "Waste Blueprint for Hong Kong 2035" and "Hong Kong's Climate Action Plan 2030+". Government projects have a great demand for advanced waste treatment and engineering expertise as these initiatives are progressively implemented. The HKSARG is opening the door to overseas experienced waste treatment specialists and engineers who:

have expertise in design, construction, operation and management of large-scale multi-disciplinary waste facilities contracts
have a master's or PhD degree in advanced thermal waste treatment process or advanced chemical, physical, or biological waste treatment processes plus 5 years of relevant on-the-job experience; or
have a bachelor's degree in the same fields plus 8 years' on-the-job experience
