Financial Professionals in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)

More ESG-related business opportunities are expected to emerge in the financial services industry as our country and Hong Kong are striving to achieve carbon neutrality in 2060 and 2050 respectively. The HKSARG is opening the door to experienced ESG professionals who:

• hold a bachelor's or higher degree in environmental science or management, sustainability, commerce, finance, business administration, economics, accounting, law, environmental studies or other relevant disciplines, and have completed on-the-job training or industry courses and programmes
• have experience and knowledge in ESG financing, investment, product development, disclosure/reporting/standards, rating assessment, risk management, regulation and compliance, investment research and analysis, and practices especially on climate change, climate-related risk and investment management, carbon footprint calculation, stakeholder management, or other related fields
